This is a spider diagram for words which i could relate to my audio clip.

Flip Book Illustration

Above is one of the images created within my group during the session where we had to create a short sequence comprising of 36 pieces of paper which once put together would create an animation. However unfortunately we could get our final animation to work correctly so i have uploaded one of the pieces of paper instead. The idea is that you have 3 alien like creatures dancing, and like on the show Britain's got talent they get voted off with X's above their heads. As the animation starts one cross is lit up, half way through the 2nd lights up and on the last page the third cross lights up.

Idea Edit

I have decided to slightly change my storyboard by using an outside tap rather than a tap dripping into a sink. I also thought that as the tap drips and a puddle forms a create or robot style image could grow from out of the water like in this animation below.

Chosen Word Alteration

After thinking about my storyboard linked with my words i chose initially i feel that they don't particularly link together well so i intend to change my words to suit my idea.

1. Repeat -

Synonyms: echo, recapitulation, reiteration, repetition, replay, reproduction, rerun, reshowing.

Definition: something done over; duplicate.

Urban Dictionary: To say stuff over and over.


2. Drip -

Synonyms: dribble, drizzle, exude, filter, plop, rain, splash, sprinkle, trill, weep.

Definition: drop, trickle.


Urban Dictionary: A lose.


3. Sharp -

Synonyms: acute, barbed, edged, fine, jagged, keen, knife-edged, needle-pointed, peaked, pointed, pointy, prickly, pronged, razor-sharp, serrated, sharp-edged, sharpened, spiked, spiky, splintery, stinging, thorny.

Definition: knife like, cutting.

Urban Dictionary: clever or intelligent, good looking or well dressed, your looking sharp today.

Edited Storyboard

 

I thought that instead of the water coming out just a bright blue colour that it could be multi coloured strips like the image above. I think it could possibly make it more interesting!

Final Idea 1st Storyboard

This is the storyboard idea i am thinking of going with for my final animation if everything works out okay.

Story Board Rethink

Okay so i've been thinking about all my storyboard ideas and nothing particularly stands out to me as being a good idea soooooooo i then had an idea, based slightly around my previous ideas but changed slightly.

 So thoguht i'd go with the dripping tap idea, have real life photographs of a kitchen, sink and tap included then have an animated (cartoon style) drip coming from the tap, you see the sink begin to fill up which then starts to over flow and the water starts running down the kitchen cupboards an onto the floor (all water iscartoon based style).

I really like this idea but i now need to put it onto paper and get some storyboards drawn out.
